PC adapter for mist maker used?

hi i recently bought 2 mist maker .the output voltagr as DC 24v 800mA, can i used pc AC adapter (output voltagr as DC 20v 4.5A for mist maker used?
if this answer is yes, can i cut the wire to join the 2 mist maker as using one adapter which i am planing to so?
