Powerwash siding (wood)

Hello,

I see on the internet guides and videos on how to wash vinyl siding, how about painted wood siding? It is Ok to power wash at low pressure or this is not recommended at all?

What kind if shape is the paint and wood in?

The house was built in 85. The painting overall looks good, probably painted in the last 3-4 years. The wood siding mostly likely is original.

If you powewash it, be careful. Keep the wand tip away from the surface until you see how the paints adhering. Be prepared to touch up some spots if you start blowing off peeling paint. The biggest part to painting is preparation. If the previous painter went over a dirty surface, chances are you're going to dislodge some paint.
