I bought a digital radon meter. I put the detector in the basement and it says 4.07(which is too high)
I then placed the meter on the ground floor and it says 4.35.
I'm confused why the radon level is higher on the ground floor. The basement has no ventilation.
The upper floors I have all the windows open and 1500cfm attic fan running. I can feel air entering through all the windows so I don't understand why the radon level would be higher with all the ventilation.
I have a company coming in a few weeks to install a mitigation system for 1200 bucks. I'm just looking for some insight into the higher level upstairs
