Our Samsung Gas Range model #NX58H5600SS has an issue that seems to have just started with a fluctuating and inconsistent oven temperature. I placed the probe from my smoker grill in the oven and the temperature (set at 350° F) would rise to above 350 and below 350 and then back and forth. I've looked at the manual and I'm thinking that it might be the temperature sensor.
Any other thoughts on what might be going on? Thanks in advance.
I'm kind of surprised it isn't a total failure. I have the NX58K7850SS, which looks to be a Double Oven version of yours. Mine never heated correctly from day 1, it would be off by more than 50 degrees compared to 3 brand new temp gauges.
The upper oven wouldn't cook anything, like a GEO going up a hill. It took 50 plus minutes for a Papa Murphy's Pizza, for example. The tech that showed up said my problem was using the divider between the ovens. He said without the divider, it should work fine, eliminating the entire concept of a double oven, like the Mashed potatoes and Gravy up top and the Turkey down below... If you were considering a Double Oven, I would steer clear of Samsung at least.
The Oven seal finally completely quit so it's useless. Cleaning it doesn't help. I still use the Range, and when I turn the burners on, it will turn on the oven lights. It's truly possessed, and Lowe's didn't want to deal with repairing it, so they refunded my entire purchase price.
So, lesson learned... I will ALWAYS get a 5 Year extended warranty on all appliances. My original service call would have been more $$$ than the warranty.
I hope yours works fine, and I think my problem was I didn't get a single oven.
