Stair wall/new carpet dilemma

Good afternoon, after having carpet installed on the steps I feel like I’m missing something where the steps meet the wall. It looks sort of “unfinished”. Is there some sort of trim I can install or some sort of transition piece or is this normal and I’m just crazy?

I would have opted for trim instead of wrapping the edges with carpet. A wider view picture could be helpful in helping with a solution.
