Chewy is fast, two day delivery (if FedEx doesn't mess up). I couldn't find a receipt to see if Chewy is really cheaper than Walmart but often Walmart doesn't have stock and I have to look elsewhere. With Chewy I only have to lift once and skip the roundabout so there are pluses. Gas savings is another one as Walmart is 10-12 miles distant. I dropped Sams as it's about 30 miles away. It would take a heck of a lot of savings to justify driving 30 miles.
I use Chewy also, Walmart doesn't have Merrick Cat food, which is "better" than most. I cant make homemade Cat food like I make homemade Dog Food because Cats require different nutrients and vitamins like Taurine and it's a pain...

Too me, there needs to be, "rules of engagement"....
You are restricted from participating in any sports, other than those equal to your birth gender.
You mention the transgender sports issue. I hear about it all the time, states passing legislation to keep, mainly men by birth, from participating in, mainly girls, sports. I get it and it really doesn't work once the person is past puberty. Here in Ohio they have been working for a couple years to get a law passed. I was listening to a report about the bill and the news person asked how many kids this affected in Ohio. The answer was 6. So we have 2,500,000+ kids 0-17 years old and this involves 6. I found it funny because listening to the politicians this is a massive problem needing immediate attention. It just seems so over blown.

I guess it depends upon whether (or not) you have a daughter on the swim or basketball team.

6 "transgender" Boys is the problem and that's it? What about all the races they win against the Girls? In one Swimming or Track heat, there is at least 6 participants. Unless the Girls in those races are the Top 1% of all the Male and Female contestants combined, they have no chance.

How is that not a big deal?

By the way, did this forum start out as an Ohio board or something?

All of these 3 need to amend their charters an found a 3rd group, who can then compete against those of the, "IT", Ideology;
NCAA NFHS NCSA

I agree it creates an unfair situation in girls sports and can affect scholarships and the like, so yes it's a big deal. It just seems a) really over over blow in terms of the amount of noise it generates. b) seems like it is out place on the priority list. Like this is a major crisis, thousands of children will be impacted! No only 6 in the whole state. Do we need to spend all the time and effort let alone money to generate a law? Seems the state athletic governing body simply adjusts their rules, done. There will be angry people either way and probably law suites. Can't have anything without those ya know. But no we have to have politicians making statements, media coverage, fist pounding and outrage. Really?

It's considerably more than just some law in Ohio. I find Larry Alex Taunton to speak eloquently on the whole question of who is pulling the strings trying to disrupt our ideology on multiple fronts. As for myself I wonder what is next there is definitely something afoot to impact everything normal people hold dear. IOW it is "in-your-face" on steroids and it's spreading like COVID.

Where are you getting this number of 6 from? How does it only affect 6?

Everything... Everything that is talked about besides the Biden crime syndicate is to distract from the Biden / Obama crime syndicate.

Things went well today-- aside from my gut issues. Wore my new shoes out and they need to stretch a little, but the insoles are cushy. Took both friends with me. Got the boots for my friend's birthday and the gf found a cardigan on clearance that she loved. I used a coupon to get a huge discount. Then we went to eat. Got curbside pickup from Samsclub and went in to HD for in-store pickup. Dropped them off and went home. GF was very happy and said she had a good time.

Got the food to go because I couldn't finish it at first. The bourbon chicken was a bit tough to chew so it took me awhile to eat it.

I stapled up the moving blankets over the windows. They cover the very top part all the way across and leave a gap at the bottom where the cats can easily sit in the windowsill if they want and it lets a little light in, but it keeps a lot of the heat out. Also keeps the sun from glaring on my computer screen.

Been playing games to try to earn amazon gift cards. Trying to build up enough to cover the cost or at least most of the cost of what is currently in my amazon cart.

As an aside, yesterday I noticed a yellow light shining in through the windows from the porch. Mom asked me if the porch light was on. Sure enough, it was. It hasn't worked in YEARS but suddenly it was on. When the sun came out I turned it off. At night I went to turn it back on and it blinked on for a moment and then off. I went to flip the lever down to try again and heard crunching noises and the toggle is stuck. Friend said something inside might have burned. So, that has to be replaced.

Where are you getting this number of 6 from? How does it only affect 6?
I heard it on a local radio program interview with a state congressman. A quick search turned this up. Former Republicans and Democrats form new third U.S. political party this is a total of 6 so maybe that's where the number came from. I saw another article that stated 12 since 2015/16 school year. So any way you slice it its a really low number. As I said just seems like the whole world acts like this is the most important thing there is, a crisis. It touches a micro percentage of us but everyone seems wrapped up in it. I mean it's a discussion on a DYI board. Maybe I've just grown weary of all the noise.

If it were not a big deal, then why did the NCAA sue the gov. of SD for restricting , "boys" from declaring themselves to be "girls" and competing in female sporting events, instead of creating an individualized program for those, selective, cultural, "its"?

Probably don't want to create and manage separate program category for what maybe a couple hundred individuals nationwide. I think that's a bit of the problem, what do you do with a tiny group? As for a lawsuit, that's the norm now isn't it? I'm thinking about sueing Canada for all the smoke at my house.

I think that, "TRANS", is little more than another form of socialism, and that the national sports programs should, within their own ranks, differentiate, instead of obligating national recognized groups, which have existed for decades, too assimilate, and decline, perspectively.

As for the smoke, only if it affects the viewing of the northern lights.

I assume you didn't mean to post a link about a new political party... Ok, so only 6 "trans" Boy/Girls are affected in your mind... WHAT ABOUT all the REAL Girls that lose races to the HE/SHE'S?

They aren't affected? They don't say "Screw this, I'm not doing sports and losing to a dude freak"??

Northern Lights, can hardly see the sun today!

"The decision is a major blow to unreliable and inefficient technology, not to mention the bitter climate gnome, Greta Thunberg, who continually warns mankind about the next climate Armageddon that never comes."
Yeah, it just continually amazes me that the first people thought of in the "climate change" debate, formerly known as "global warming" are a Swedish teenager with Aspergers and a failed Bartender that is only in Congress because she's surrounded by people that believe everything she spouts. No actual qualifications needed like the power of observation that the Earth's temperature hasn't risen even two tenths of a degree since 1880 or so.

Then there's Kerry and Gore (No qualifications) and then there's people like Dicaprio (Really zero qualifications)... Then there is Bill Nye the Science Guy, who isn't a Scientist, but a Mechanical Engineer..

It's just hilarious that they have NOBODY that has credentials... They never talk about actual climate scientists on THEIR SIDE because they are wrong, they use the long outdated climate models.

If they were CORRECT, wouldn't the Left constantly bombard us with climate change info from their Scientists? That's all we would hear, 24/7 from ACTUAL ACCREDITED SCIENTISTS.... Name one of them! I can't... Nobody else can either...
