Window leak and wall stain

I have a window leak that I can’t figure out. The window is leaking but the water accumulates at the bottom of the wall. I had a leak prior to this and I re-caulked the exterior of the window along with having the drywall repair. I had not yet painted the repair and the rain left a pretty big water stain. I can’t figure out how the water is coming in that it is accumulating in two places. Any thoughts on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

check the exterior above the window area for any open seams/crack as well as roofing on that side. if you have attic access above that area, i would recommend checking for any discoloration in the roof rafters leading towards the window area.

Seems like there is a fine gap between the window frame and the wall. Check the exterior as well for any cracks or something like that. Better you talk to an expert before further damage.
