    Old treasures

You should be able to find the owner by going to the county appraiser's office where they are parked, they should have a list of property owners for tax purposes, and I believe that is 'public domain' information, depending on where you are. It can't hurt to ask the owners of the vehicles, what...

    Looking at a new truck

ODNT & Chris: My towing has been mostly weekend trips to the lake ~50 miles, I do some hauling, (biggest load I've had on my '98 dually was ~12K of crushed rock to fill low spots in my driveway; - Weigh out from the rock yard was 19K+). My budget is $35K or less, and appropriate vehicles in my...

    Looking at a new truck

Thanks Chris, I've been wearing out web sites, shopping for a newer Pickup, and racking my brain trying to decide between the 2500 or 3500 choices. I'm used to a 3500 Dodge, and will probably go that way, but 1 more question: single or dual rear wheels? Note my pin weight (above); I'm wondering...

    Whats Cookin?

Just rollin' with the flow OD, tryin' to get all the breaker boxes in the Ponderosa moved to one box in the garage. Hope to finish that within the next week or so. Snow is coming, and my 90 year old electrician said if the ground is white, he isn't coming. I'm waiting my turn for a heart cath...

    Looking at a new truck

I, too, am looking for a new (to me) pickup. I have a Hitchhiker II LS 30.5' fifth wheel camper, current weight 13,560, (ready to go). Pin weight is around 2200. I've been pulling it with my '98 Dodge 3500, 5.9 L 24 valve, 5 speed manual, 4.10 rear end. The truck is approaching 200K, and...

    Jeep Yj MPFI conversion.

Thanks, I was thinking of going in that direction, and the Hesco info will most likely save me a lot of grief when push comes to cranking.

    Jeep Yj MPFI conversion.

Great idea on the battery connections! I'm sure you all have seen the wimpy post connectors that Detroit (or Beijing) are forcing on us now-a-days. The metal is so thin, I doubt it will last 3-5 years on some of these newer cars & trucks. Just sayin'. MG, how much do you figure the FI conversion...
