Finished basement flooded with 3-4 inches of standing water throughout the whole thing. Water is now dried up and time to start on the wall demolition. Is it o.k. to just cut out the sheetrock 12 inches up, or should I go up 4 ft. and take out the whole bottom sheet. I'm wondering if when it comes time to replace the sheetrock if it will make things easier and a nicer finish if the seam has the beveled sheetrock edges, or if it won't really matter that much.
