Better method for cutting tile?

This is a tiny piece in between a vanity and bathtub, so I'm not worried too much about it looking bad. I cut it with a 7" grinder, and the edge is very jagged.

I know that I would usually use a tile saw, but some cuts require a grinder (this one didn't).

What do you think went wrong? Was the grinder too large? Maybe the blade was dull?

I cut the same way I've cut anything else.

I think the blade should have been changed. All I did was cut straight like I always do with any type of tool.

I just can not imagine trying to cut tile with that big a grinder!
If I was using a grinder it would have been a 4-1/2 with a diamond wheel.

Yea I don't think this was a diamond wheel, either.

Actually it was a diamond blade. This is the same blade I've used to cut up the slab twice, and many other things over the past 6 months.

Perhaps it just needs to be changed.
