I had this same thing so I made the fence section so it could be lifted out. But it weighs 170 lbs so a helper prevents drama.
It helps to have a "J" shaped hook from a long 1/2" dia. bolt fastened to a horizontal wood dowel handle with an adjustable length chain, coat hanger wire & a washer.
That way you lift with your body and not with your biceps. Your arm stays straight.
The hook is covered with a plastic tube so it doesn't damage the wood being lifted.
