I don't think I'd still be alive without my cats. One of them woke me up when I was having a heart attack. Plus they helped me through some major depression.

Got the shower curtain up. Now I need to clean up in the bathroom.

Ron, the pool looks great and very inviting!

How is your brother doing? I'm praying for his full recovery.

BTW in NC one can purchase a handgun now w/o a permit from the sheriff. My 93 yr old friend has a Judge revolver that fires .410 shotgun shells or .45 long Colt. However it's in his bedroom on a shelf so I hope he never needs it. I keep a .38 in a chair pocket and have a .380 semi that fits any pocket (even a shirt pocket) but have yet to load the magazine for it.
Thanks for asking. Today, my brother, Dan, said, “I start physical therapy next week for my broken clavicle...I had CT scan today in preparation for my appointment next week with my neurosurgeon. I hope he approves more activities. Right now I am limited to 5# and nothing that would raise my systolic bp.”

The conversation started by him telling me, “Today when I got home from a doctor's appointment, my assailant was sitting outside my back porch. I called 911 and reported that my assailant was outside my house in violation of his terms of release. The police had me formally "trespass" him in their presence and escorted him off my property. I was shaking and my heart was racing long after the police left. After hearing about my assault, many people recently have said I should move to Alabama. I think I want a bigger town - maybe Huntsville?”

The whole thing is out of control. I talked to him about a gun but he doesn’t want one.

I haven't paid much attention to Bill Gates but since he has been mentioned on this forum I decided to check into what kind of evil he was doing. So I devoted an hour to a presentation on youtube entitled Is Bill Gates Dangerous? | #9. The answer is yes!

The Dutch Government has collapsed.
Yeah, I don’t really fully understand the Parliament system. They collapsed because two out of the four parties disagreed with the new proposed immigration regulations which would have been more strict than their existing laws. The Netherlands are already the most restrictive country in the EU.

Dennis Rodman gets face tattoo of Girlfriend....

Never been into tattoos, understand why people want them and sometimes try to figure people's out if I am in the mood, but face tattoos just make me scratch my head...

THIS, though, completely blows everything out of the water... Dennis Rodman is 62, his Girlfriend looks early 30's... What happens when he's 70 and she ditches him? YES... Rodman is out there and loves attention, but this is extreme even for him.

Even with no tats, I know the rule that the only Women you get tats of as a Man is Mom and your Daughters. And never on the FACE!!!

Well, he was Obama's North Korean envoy, so since her ancestry is Estonia, one can wonder if that will be hunters next business venture.

Well, his Ted Talk where he said we could get rid of 15% of the world's population if "we did a real good job on vaccines" turned out not to work, as we would have lost 1.2 Billion people from the Covid shots...

So Yeah, he's a Demon, nothing close to a Human.

I went for a personal tour of YMCA Camp Greenville. It was in between sessions, kids will arrive tomorrow afternoon for the next session. The camp is 1400 acres mostly wilderness. I saw a number of deer and a small black bear (the bear wasn't on campus).

My son loaned me a car until he can install new belts on mine. It requires three separate belts. He has an unproven theory as to why replacement belts have shorter life spans than originals. The cardboard sleeves force a tighter radius than the belts experience in use. The longer belts sit on the shelf the more of a set they take with the tight radius. He has experienced at least one failure at one of those points. I think we will mark each belt before installation.

My loaner is an Impala. It's larger than my Prizm so it's a bit of retraining to get a sense of the car's perimeter. I know backing up is going to be a problem to be avoided when possible.

I’ve been spoiled by backup cameras on my cars. I had to install them but it’s worth it. I put a camera on the front of my Expedition but it recently quit working.

I also got to see my son's wolf-dog for the first time. He's a beautiful animal. We didn't make friends yet but he only showed caution, no aggression. I would guess his weight to be 120 lbs or more.

That reminds me that I want a front camera and blindspot cameras. Probably won't happen, but it would be nice.

Curbside pickup order from samsclub was supposed to be read between 11am to 12pm. I kept checking and it said "pending". It hit noon. Pending. 12:30- pending. 1pm- pending. 1:10pm- ready. Then I had to wait for Mom to get out of the bathroom. Since they didn't care to have my order ready on time I didn't care to pick it up in a hurry. Took Mom to Flying Wok (my favorite restaurant). I had watermelon for dessert. It was good watermelon. Mom insisted on going inside to look around and get more stuff. When we went for the curbside order, someone had stolen the toilet paper so the associate had to go all the way to the back of the store to get another one. So, the order technically wasn't ready. She though the trunk in the pickup bed was cool.

Went to Walmart after to meet my friend to put gas in his car. He just got screwed over by DMV & his insurance company. Day his premiums were due, they rejected the payment & sent him a notice. He then rectified it and sent payment that went through that same day. So, you'd think that would be fine as it was paid on time. Nope. They claimed that it lapsed and didn't reinstate it until the next day. Bc he had a few hours of not being covered, DMV is charging him $700. I told him to talk to them and explain the situation to see if they will listen to reason. They probably won't, but he could at least try. And his windshield cracked all the way across so he can't get inspection approved. Also, a roach crawled into his daughter's ear. They've been keeping the house clean but the neighbors are filthy so there are roaches coming from over there. Got him a bunch of roach sprays. Went back to his house to pick up my shampoo and body wash.

Then back home. I dissected two rotisserie chickens. They will make good sammiches later.

I sometimes have to remind myself to be nice to people while out and about. 95% of the time, no problem. All the store workers are nice, people get along etc., but when I see a kid say 16-19 and I need to ask a question, I think to myself "this is going to be fun"... Went to the hardware store that rhymes with ACE for Birdseed that's in their ad that I didn't bring, much cheaper than anywhere else.

Nothing in the seed section says what's in the ad, not close... So I approach the cashier and ask him...

"Do you know if this is the seed in the ad"?... Different price, looks the same...

Him... "Okay."

"No, is this the seed that's in the weekly ad"?

"Ummmm"...

"Do you have a copy of the Ad so I can see what seed is on sale?"

"We don't print the ads."

"Is there somebody...."

"I'll see if Mike has an ad..."

Manager Mike or whoever gets there...

"Do you have a copy of the ad that tells me what bird seed is on sale?"

"We don't have ads."

That's when I just walk out... That's why they want Drugs legalized everywhere... The dumber people are, the better for the puppeteers.

Then I go to Wally World and there is two "Homeless" people begging... One might be legit, but he's bouncing around jacked up on something, so I'm not contributing to that... The second is a lady that has a sign, and I catch "Help Mom of 3 and Cash App" on the bottom... I think I saw Venmo on it also, but didn't want to completely stare at the sign... If you can afford $80 Internet, you aren't needy... Reminds me of people that want food, but only if it's Vegan... Uh Huh.

Found this post that pretty much nails the City life here in Montucky... It's real bizarre, so that's a good reason I'm Countryfried... I'll visit the Cities if I have to...

"Both Missoula and Bozeman have been ruined by the Universities there. The people who work at those Universities are some of the most liberal you will ever meet. I have been to both towns school shopping for the kids, many, many times. Just walking through the mall, you can see the types of people who live there.

While in Missoula, I got tired of walking in the mall and decided to take our truck to get an alignment to kill time. A brand new GMC 1500 4x4 pulls up, lift kit, 20 inch chrome wheels with off-road tires, front push bumper, not a speck of dirt on the thing.

This slender man in his 30's jumps out, wearing dress shoes, tight jeans, a dress shirt, beard, man bun, with a man purse on his shoulder. I laughed so hard that the service rep walked over, tapped me on the shoulder, and told me that the guy comes in every couple of months complaining of vibrations in his steering wheel.

They tried to explain to him that driving that truck, he is going to feel vibrations, but he has them check the alignment, balance the tires anyway. The service rep explained that he guy was a professor at UM. Hopefully one day he will sell that truck to someone who will use it for it's intended purpose."
