Have had Kidney stones forming for a couple of weeks, which has never happened. The only other times I have had stones, they were full on there and I couldn't move a muscle without pain. 15 out of 10 pain. If I sat completely still, I was pain free.

With this incident, I can move and walk and go to the store, everything normal but there is slight pain, like a 4 out of 10...

With the previous stones, Cranberry Juice dissolved them. One gallon sitting there because I couldn't move, and that was that... That didn't work this time, I drank 3 gallons in 5 days or so... Back in the day, "Cranberry Juice" was exactly that... Now, it's "Apple and Pear and 400 other things and 2% Cranberry". It reminds me of "Almond Milk" that is about an Ounce of Almonds and the rest is Water and additives. If you like "Almond Milk" and learn to make your own, you will never buy those cartons again.

So, I went to a trusted resource for Kidney Stone dissolving and ran into a remedy I either hadn't heard of or forgot... I have forgotten much more about Natural health than most people have ever heard of because it's my lane and I geek out on it.

A couple of ounces of ACV in 16 oz water with a little Olive Oil... Slammed it down, and chased it with 16 ounces of plain water... Pain gone within a few minutes. The recipe called for fresh squeezed Lemon also, but I didn't have any.

Now, time to cut down on Salt and increase water intake, get back to a 36 Hour water fast once a week.

Flyover, well, if my uncle's FIL could bribe the college to let his daughter in to college in & give her a degree then anything is possible. I think he paid for a whole new wing.
Hah, I was a high schooler with a single mom who struggled to put food on the table. No new wings opening on my behalf!

I knew this math teacher had a daughter with a lot of mental and physical health problems. I brought in a pie I'd baked myself and said "I hope you'll enjoy this with your daughter." His eyes got wet and a week later I found out I'd (barely) passed the class.

Spicoli, in the stores around here at least you can still find 100% unsweetened cranberry juice, but there's sticker shock: it's $5 or $6 for a 40-something oz glass bottle. (Never had kidney stones but if that stuff can dissolve them I'd say it's a steal at just about any price.) I usually dilute it. It's great with fizzy water.

Yeah, I have seen the 100% Cranberry Juice in bottles, it's $10 to $14 for a 32 ounce bottle depending on Non Organic / Organic. I was trying to get by on the cheap, which was $2.99 for a 64 oz of the mixed stuff. Knowing what I know, I should KNOW NOT TO DO THAT...

And yes, if you ever have Stones, you will happily pay $14 to get rid of them.

Flyover, that was actually very sweet of you even if you had ulterior motives.

Spicoli! Ugh! Sending virtual hugs your way. Kidney stones SUCK. My dad had a very high pain threshhold but kidney stones really hit him hard when he had them. He had some pretty large ones. Mine have all been small. Tooth pain was worse for me. Whole Paycheck! LOL. Yeah, pretty much. I don't think we have those around here either.

I'm just chilling and waiting for my mom to get up so we can go to the the chinese place together. Got cats curled up on me while I rest.

Flyover, the bribe somehow triggered my memory of this Dean Koontz quote.

"The life of a seamstress is no smaller than the life of a queen, the life of a child with Down syndrome no less filled with promise than the life of a philosopher, because the only significant measure of your life is the positive effect you have on others, either by conscious acts of will or by unconscious example.”

Thanks. Yes, at the time I remember finding it curious that I knew I was doing something genuinely kind as well as simultaneously being very selfish and even a bit unethical. (After all, I'd spent the semester slacking off, I'd show up to that very math class drunk quite often, and I actually snuck a Phillips screwdriver into school and half-disassembled a few desks as a prank.) Life is not black and white.

It's a good quote, I'm familiar with it! I try to live by it these days.

Regarding juice content I once bought a marked down bottle of sweet sour mix just because it contained the juice of 16 lemons.

Went to Samsclub and brought Mom and my brother along. Stopped at the Chinese place first and it was good. Did the sam's pickup but the water had to go in the pickup bed because my brother was in the spot I normally put the water. He helped bring the cases in because we needed to open the trunk to get the cold stuff out. Got everything put away. I did briefly stop at the hardware store and the post office. One of my triple rocker switches arrived. My back hates me now so I'm resting it on the massage pad and may take a nap soon.

They had to go back to a speed limit or the Federali Gestapo wouldn't give them Highway funds. You know, Blackmail... Now it's 80 most places.
Technically that's extortion, not blackmail.

Unless Montana's got some dirty secrets they don't want us to know about...
